Can I use your Scans on my site?
Please email me first before you use SC material on any blog, community, or otherwise. The answer is always yes, provided you have a link crediting SC for the scanslation, and the artist for their work.
Can I donate doujinshi?
No thank you. Unless you have high-quality scans of Idea or GD Mechano doujinshi that aren't already on the site, SC is no longer interested. As it turns out, our staff barely has time to process our core stuff, so taking on anything extra just isn't possible anymore. I will also accept Kingdom Hearts scans, as they are fairly rare.
I can't download "X" doujin. What gives?
You currently have 2 options for downloading each doujinshi; MegaUpload (which earns SC some money, so please use it whenever possible) and Direct Download. If neither of these methods work for you, please email me at scanclan@gmail.com and we will work something out. Sorry for the inconveniance. Also, please report any broken links you find on the site.

I wanna join!
We appreciate your enthusiasm, but SC is no longer a growing team. The regular staff has pretty much been set. However, if you are a translator please email me anyway... as your breed are very hard to come by, and we could always use another one. I'm also looking for a reliable editor who's willing to help me finish lengthy works. Please email if interested.
I'd like to help, what do you need?
Hmm... money <3 No kidding. SC's broke. A lot of people have already donated (thank you so much!), but we're going to need more to keep the site running. You have my promise that all donations are only being used for server bills and domain bills. All doujinshi is purchased with cash from the scanner's pockets (or my pockets). Right now, it's currently 130$ a year just to have the site here, and 10$ for a registered domain name. I'm in college, so I'm poor ;p
If you can't donate or don't want to, that's ok. You can help out by simply supporting us and visiting the site, or emailing or posting thanks. Believe it or not, it's really nice to get emails that just say, "thank you." Please enjoy everything you see here.

What happened to the Black Dog Project?
Due to lack of interest and man-power, the BD project has been indefinitely cancelled. I did get a few scans in, but they were severely ranging in quality. Also, I couldn't find anyone to help me edit or scan, and I just can't do that many by myself. Sorry... :(
How come you don't release every month anymore?
Our staff has become extremely busy of the last few years, so we can't really produce like we used to. Those of us who aren't in post-secondary school have full-time jobs that need our attention, so I'm sure you'll understand. We're not giving up though, so please stick with us as we attempt to keep up ^^;
Just how exactly do you spell Scan-Clan?
Scan-Clan is spelled WITH the hyphen. There seems to be about 30 different versions of the our name floating around out there, but please try to spell it correctly, since it is our .com and such.
Do you have "X" picture?
Feel free to email me if you want larger scans from any of our releases. For the most part, I still have all the raw scans on file (except for some of the GD Mechano doujin). So, if you want a larger scan of a cover, or a specific page of the doujin, email me and let me know exactly what you want. We usually scan at 300 DPI, so our uncleaned pages are rather large. All pages are resized down to a simple 800x1200 format.
